Job summary

Head First is seeking a Permanent Support Worker in Horsham, West Sussex, to support a male client living with cerebral palsy at home. The role offers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a guaranteed contracted schedule.

You will deliver day-to-day support to promote independence, wellbeing and community participation, including personal care, mobility assistance, routines, and social activities, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence (the role includes driving an automatic vehicle).
• Enhanced DBS check (funded if required).
• Right to work in the UK.

Permanent Support Worker

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary: £16.78 per hour (Equivalent annual salary of approximately £26,200 per annum based on a 30-hour working week)

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and motivated Permanent Support Worker to join an established team supporting a male client living with cerebral palsy in his family home in Horsham. This is a permanent employed role with guaranteed contracted hours of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Our client enjoys good conversation, social outings, football, meeting new people and gaming on his PlayStation. He uses a wheelchair in the community but can walk short distances with support and a walking aid.
