Job summary

Bromford is seeking an Independent Living Scheme Officer to support our schemes across Tewkesbury and surrounding areas. You will provide housing-related assistance to vulnerable and older residents, helping them maintain independence in their homes.

You'll build trusting relationships, conduct health and safety checks, manage on-site repairs, and serve as a reassuring, visible presence to residents. A UK driving licence and DBS check are required.

• Understanding policies, procedures and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing-related support to vulnerable and older residents across independent living schemes.
• Build trusting relationships to help residents feel safe, supported and independent at home.
• Carry out health and safety checks, manage communal repairs, and complete annual reviews.
• Be a visible, on-site presence – offering reassurance and connection to residents.
• Promote wellbeing and independence by being a friendly point of contact.
