Job summary

Marden Lodge Primary School is seeking an inspirational Inclusion Base Teacher to lead and deliver high-quality provision for pupils with SEND, including SLCN, ASD and SEMH. The role is a permanent, part-time post working 50/100 across five mornings from Monday to Friday, offering a balanced approach to professional impact and family life.

Qualifications

• GCSE including at least C grade in English and Mathematics
• Commitment to undertaking further specialist training or qualifications relating to SEND
• Experience as an “Outstanding” Primary Teacher
• Extensive experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A good working knowledge of SEN Policy and the SEND Code of Practice
• Experience of working with pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an inclusive, personalised curriculum for pupils with SEND
• Lead and support the Inclusion Base team to raise attainment and engagement
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and safeguarding
• Provide short-term cover and flexible support across classes and year groups
• Contribute to school improvement and the cluster's inclusion strategy
