Job summary

Endeavour Academy in Hyde is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead the SEND Resource Base. The role focuses on expanding a 12 to 24 place base, delivering high-quality teaching and personalised support for pupils with ASD and SLCN.

The post holder will have responsibility for the Resource Base alongside non-contact leadership time, collaborating with the SENDCo, families and external professionals to ensure ambitious, inclusive education for every pupil.

Qualifications

• Experienced teacher with a strong track record of supporting children with complex SEND, particularly ASD and SLCN.
• Passionate about inclusive education and the rights of children with SEND.
• Demonstrates resilience, compassion and high expectations in leadership and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead teaching, learning and curriculum provision across the Resource Base.
• Work with the SENDCo and external professionals to meet pupils' needs.
• Provide dedicated leadership time while maintaining teaching commitments within the unit.
