Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is recruiting for a Work Coach to assist customers in claiming benefits and progressing towards employment. The role involves face-to-face, digital and telephone contact on-site within the DWP estate, delivering tailored coaching with empathy and sound judgement.

You will build knowledge of local job opportunities, offer quality job search advice, and maintain compliance with the Equality Act 2010 while supporting customers to achieve financial independence.

Qualifications

• Providing support to customers claiming Universal Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Jobseekers Allowance and Income Support.
• Giving quality advice to customers about job search actions in a largely digital world.

Responsabilités

• Work with customers on face to face, digital and telephone contact daily on site in DWP estate.
• Meet legal duties under the Equality Act 2010 and provide additional support and advice.
• Develop knowledge of local employment opportunities and partner support.
