This hybrid role requires the candidate to work 2-3 days from the office and involves statutory visits for Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Social Worker.
• Understanding of court processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete statutory visits for CIN, CP, and CIC cases.
• Chair CIN and Core Group Meetings.
• Manage a diverse caseload including complex cases.
• Prepare Court Reports and risk assessments.
• Attend court with support from a Senior Practitioner.
• Participate in the Duty rota.
• Write conference reports for ICPC and RCPC meetings.
• Assess and manage risk to safeguard children.

Skills

Experience in Family Safeguarding

Strong knowledge of child protection procedures

Education

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
