Image Technician

Location: Kidderminster

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

The Role

They specialise in delivering innovative IT lifecycle and deployment solutions that help organisations stay ahead. From imaging and configuration to sustainable refurbishment and secure logistics, they provide end-to-end services that keep their customers operational and supported.

They are growing and seeking a skilled Image Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where you\'ll be instrumental in delivering high-quality imaging, configuration, and deployment services that ensure smooth and efficient outcomes for their clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and deploy MDT images across customer environments.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows Autopilot deployments.
  • Support customers with virtual services setup and ongoing management.
  • Diagnose and resolve deployment issues quickly and effectively.
  • Work directly with customers, ensuring a professional, customer-first approach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service delivery.
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and process guides.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in service efficiency and customer outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Autopilot configuration and deployment.
  • Understanding of virtual environments and related services.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
  • Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager.
  • Familiarity with SCCM or similar deployment technologies.
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, batch scripting).
  • Awareness of ITIL or experience working within IT service frameworks.
