Overview

ICT Consultant — Reading, Berkshire

£26,000 - £32,000 (FTE - 2 days a week)

Turn IT on are looking for an ICT Consultant who has a real flair for technology mixed with a passion for providing exemplary service to our customers to join our team supporting schools across Reading.

Responsibilities
  • Support schools across multiple locations; it is essential to hold a UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Maintain all IT hardware and services across school sites and help schools improve the standard of their ICT provisions to enable effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between your school and Turn IT On, keeping them up to date with the services offered and manage the accounts of your customers.
  • Maintain school computer equipment, install new and existing software across the network, provide technical support for users and resolve identified technical problems.
  • Have good knowledge of common user applications and practical experience with Microsoft Office 365.
Qualifications
  • Ideally at least 2 years of experience in ICT Technician / 2nd line support, preferably in the education sector.
  • UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Good knowledge of common user applications and experience with Microsoft Office 365.
