Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Temporary Customer Service Advisor in Haywards Heath to support supporters and donors with empathy and clarity. The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with hybrid working (2 days in the office).

The temporary contract runs for about two months, starting at the end of October. You will handle inquiries by phone, email and letter, document interactions in our IT systems, and identify opportunities to thank supporters while maintaining donor

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or contact centre roles is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using IT systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for supporters by phone, email and letter
• Handling donations and enquiries promptly, aiming to resolve queries first time
• Supporting people sensitively on emotional matters, including legacies and in memory giving
• Making outbound calls to develop and retain supporter relationships
• Identifying opportunities such as Gift Aid and passing on high-value prospects
