Job summary

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Systems Manager for Clinical Applications to lead the administration, configuration, development and support of its clinical IT systems. As a senior member of the systems team you will supervise staff, guide projects and work with Health Informatics to ensure reliable operation and high-quality patient care.

Flexible/hybrid working is available. Experience with Radiology/Cardiology systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT systems, software engineering, CS or related field.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise staff.
• Own systems and ensure availability and operation.
• Develop, review and maintain policies and procedural documentation.
• Provide proactive user technical support and resolve issues.
• Manage and lead on small projects and system upgrades.
• Audit systems, users and data to ensure accuracy and quality.
