Job summary

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an IT Systems Support professional to provide configuration, error detection and maintenance across multiple NHS systems, including Careflow, Bluespier and EPR modules. The role is based at Worthing or Chichester with travel to other sites as needed.

The successful candidate will deliver 1st/2nd line support, assist with testing and releases, and ensure Smartcard management adheres to NHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Educated to Diploma/High National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent qualifications or experience.
• Experience of using patient or customer focussed IT based information systems.
• Experience of training ends users on the use of applications/reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for administration and integrity checks of all the above systems operational within the Trust.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all the above systems within the local Health Community.
• Participate in testing, configuration, training and support of all new releases of the above software.
• Add and modify the configuration of any of the above systems for the Trust.
• Proactively deliver and support the management and distribution of Smartcards to staff.
• Identify and elevate unresolved issues to the supplier promptly with full details.
• Work with IT teams, system suppliers and operational teams to progress work efficiently.
