Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Systems Manager to oversee a discreet set of clinical systems across the Trust. The role involves daily support, supplier management and project work on upgrades to maintain high-quality services.

Based at the Royal Free Hospital with cross-site duties, the post requires some on-site work and strong collaboration with operations managers, clinicians and external providers to optimise workflows and reporting from IT systems.

Qualifications

• Experience managing clinical systems and user access control in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to provide highly complex clinical application support via Teams, face-to-face or phone.
• Strong liaison skills with operations managers, clinical leads and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily support and supplier relationships for clinical systems.
• Project manage upgrades or major functional changes to ensure services are maintained.
• Oversee security and access control (RBAC) and ensure rights are reviewed and applied per IG directives.
• Provide accurate reporting from departmental IT systems.
• Liaise with General Managers to discuss workflow improvements and implications of changes.
