Job summary

phs Hygiene in Haydock is seeking a highly organised Planner & Scheduler to join our busy Operations team. You will create and maintain schedules for Service Drivers, analyse routes and workloads, and support daily reviews to boost productivity and customer service.

The role is full-time, hybrid, 40 hours per week, with Monday-to-Friday pattern and 23 days holiday plus bank holidays; benefits include onsite parking, ILM training, and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, planning or logistics coordination.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent IT and communication skills.
• Customer-focused and solutions-driven approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain efficient schedules for service drivers to maximise productivity and service delivery.
• Analyse routes, workloads and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Support daily operational reviews and work closely with Operations Managers.
• Assist with customer onboarding, mobilisation projects and service queries.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational KPIs and customer satisfaction.
• Promote best practice, process consistency and a positive team culture.
