Job summary

PHS Hygiene in Haydock is seeking a highly organised Planner & Scheduler to join our busy Operations team. You will create and maintain driver schedules, analyse routes and workloads, and support mobilisation projects while delivering excellent customer service.

This hybrid, full-time role offers a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, onsite parking, and access to ILM training and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, planning or logistics coordination.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent IT and communication skills; customer-focused.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain efficient schedules for Service Drivers to maximise productivity and service delivery.
• Analyse routes, workloads and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Support daily operational reviews and work closely with Operations Managers.
• Assist with customer onboarding, mobilisation projects and service queries.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational KPIs and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
• Promote best practice, process consistency and a positive team culture.
