Job summary

A well-known business in Bridgwater is seeking an Overheads Accountant for a fixed-term contract of up to one year. This hybrid role requires strong accounting experience in delivering accurate month-end reporting and managing cost centre accounts. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or AAT qualified, with excellent Excel skills and experience in financial reporting. Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cost centre accounting and financial reporting essential.
• Strong proficiency in Excel required, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate accounting for properties including prepayments and maintenance costs.
• Perform month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany accounts and support external audits.
