Job summary
Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in South Wales is recruiting a Junior Application Support Analyst to help maintain the stability and usability of critical business applications. The role offers hybrid working and can be based in Cardiff or Newport, with opportunities to work across incident management, monitoring and testing.
You will gain hands-on experience across incident management, system monitoring, documentation and deployment checks, while developing strong analytical and communication skills
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with degree in Computer Science / IT / Information Technology or similar, or some commercial experience as a Junior Application Support Analyst or similar role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Interest in IT systems and application support.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- GitHub experience and SaaS application support would be an advantage.
- Exposure to software testing or experience in Financial Services environment would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Logging, investigating and resolving application incidents to agreed service levels.
- Monitoring application performance and system alerts, escalating issues as required.
- Providing support to users and troubleshooting application issues.
- Maintaining and updating knowledge base articles, support guides and user documentation.
- Supporting application releases and post-deployment checks.
