Job summary

Zachary Daniels in Liverpool is seeking a Junior Application Support Analyst to join a growing consumer business investing in its technology function. You will provide first-line support across core business apps and help maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

With 1-2 years in Application Support or Business Systems, you’ll gain exposure to ERP/CRM and system enhancements, while developing troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Application Support or Business Systems.
• Exposure to ERP, CRM or business applications.
• Experience supporting ecommerce or customer-facing platforms is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support across core business applications.
• Investigate system, order and inventory-related issues.
• Troubleshoot application problems and escalate as needed.
• Maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes and enhancements.
• Support configuration and implementation activities.
• Coordinate with third-party technology partners on project delivery.
• Keep project plans and support tickets up to date.
• Develop expertise across the organisation's application landscape.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Help improve support processes and documentation.

The Opportunity

We're working with a growing consumer business that's investing heavily in its technology function and looking to appoint a Junior Application Support Analyst.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' experience to develop their career within Application Support and Business Systems. You'll work across a range of core business applications, supporting day-to-day operations while gaining exposure to system enhancements, integrations and technology projects.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, has excellent attention to detail and is keen to develop a career within Business Systems and Application Support.

You’ll ideally have experience with:

• 1-2 years' experience within Application Support, IT Support or Business Systems
• Exposure to ERP, CRM or business applications
• Experience supporting ecommerce or customer-facing platforms would be beneficial
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Any exposure to integrations, APIs, ticketing systems or warehouse management systems would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
