Job summary

Corstorphine & Wright invites applications for an IT Support Apprentice in Birmingham. You will join the internal IT team, gaining hands-on experience across deployment, asset management, support for meeting rooms, printers and user administration, while studying for an ICT Level 3 diploma.

The role blends on‑the‑job learning with specialist training and a 17‑month fixed‑term apprenticeship. You will develop skills in Microsoft 365 and Intune administration, workstation setup, and daily IT

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at grades 9–4 (English & Maths included) or equivalent.
• Level 2 Key Skills or Functional Skills in numeracy and literacy may be eligible.
• Strong communication and IT skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and teamwork are important.

Responsibilities

• Device deployment, configuration and refresh activities.
• New starter and leaver technology processes.
• Asset management, stock control and inventory maintenance.
• Desk moves and workstation setup.
• Mobile device and peripheral support.
• Meeting room and collaboration technology support.
• Printer support and troubleshooting.
• User administration activities.
• Documentation and knowledge base maintenance.
• Support technology rollouts and improvement initiatives.
• Work with IT team and MSPs and other technology suppliers.
• Assist with business application support and administration, including Microsoft 365 and Intune.
• User provisioning and device compliance tasks.
• Security housekeeping.
