Qualifications

  • Proven experience rewriting HR policies, ideally within a transforming or fast-paced organisation.
  • Solid background in Employee Relations or Legal with strong employment knowledge.
  • Naturally inquisitive with the confidence to challenge, simplify and improve.
  • Clear, warm communicator with a real eye for detail.
  • Comfortable working with autonomy and delivering at pace.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, rewriting and modernising the full range of HR policies, processes and template letters.
  • Ensuring a simple, gentle and friendly tone of voice across all documents.
  • Improving the clarity and consistency of letters for disciplinary, grievance and absence processes.
  • Working closely with HR stakeholders to understand needs and incorporate best practice.
  • Creating a clear, accessible and people-centred policy library.
