Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a qualified Food Safety Officer to manage food safety and health & safety enforcement casework. This full-time hybrid position allows flexibility between remote and on-site work in North West England. Candidates must have an Environmental Health qualification and experience in local authority food safety enforcement. Competitive pay rates between £40-£45 per hour are offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency for food establishment inspections (Cluster 4).
• Minimum of 10 hours of Food Core CPD aligned with the Food Law Code of Practice.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health & safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections of food establishments.
• Manage food safety and health & safety enforcement casework.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws.
