Job summary

BAE Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking an ER Advisor to provide expert employee relations support across complex cases, including disciplinary, grievance and investigations. You will coach managers, collaborate with unions and ensure compliance with employment law and ACAS guidelines.

The role covers multiple UK locations with hybrid and flexible working options; travel to other sites is expected. The position offers a salary of circa £45,000 depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in ER and Case Management within a large complex organisation.
• Proven ability to manage complex ER cases and mitigate risk.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills with unions and employee representatives.
• Knowledge of the ACAS Code of Practice and current employment law.

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of complex employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and other complex people matters.
• Provide coaching and guidance to enable managers to address issues, make decisions and mitigate risk.
• Support ER cases across UK business units and travel to meet case requirements.
• Provide pragmatic, legally compliant advice to influence stakeholder outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve line leader capability and knowledge of ER processes.
• Identify and elevate risk in legal, reputational and organisational areas.
• Drive continuous improvement through technology adoption and process optimisation.
