Job summary

Page Personnel in Manchester is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to provide clear advice to managers and colleagues on workplace matters. You will manage employee relations cases from initial discussion through to an agreed outcome, supporting fair handling of disciplinary, grievance and absence matters.

You'll prepare case notes and correspondence, guide managers through formal meetings, work with HR colleagues to resolve people issues, and identify recurring themes to share with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a range of employee relations cases.
• Knowledge of disciplinary, grievance and absence processes.
• Ability to provide clear, practical advice to managers.
• Confidence preparing accurate case documentation and correspondence.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience working with Human Resources colleagues on people matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear employee relations advice to managers and colleagues on workplace matters.
• Manage employee relations cases from initial discussion through to an agreed outcome.
• Support fair and consistent handling of disciplinary, grievance and absence matters.
• Prepare case notes, letters and supporting documents to maintain accurate records.
• Guide managers through formal meetings and help them understand the required process.
• Work closely with the Human Resources team to resolve people issues in a timely way.
• Identify recurring employee relations themes and share practical feedback with relevant colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
