Job summary

Aspire Recruitment in Manchester City Centre (Hybrid) is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to manage a varied ER caseload, advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.

You will lead workplace investigations, hearings and appeals, ensuring cases comply with UK employment law and HR policies, while coaching managers through sensitive employee situations in a hands-on, case-focused role.

Qualifications

• Must have strong ER case management experience.
• Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
• Experience leading workplace investigations.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Ability to advise managers and manage sensitive employee matters.
• Proactive in identifying trends and improving ER processes.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent HR/ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied ER caseload from start to finish.
• Provide practical guidance to managers on disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Lead workplace investigations, hearings and appeals.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policy.
• Coach managers through sensitive employee situations.
• Document cases accurately and maintain procedural records.
