Job summary

pladis is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to shape fair people practices across the UK’s manufacturing sites and corporate locations. You will partner with managers, HR colleagues and senior stakeholders to handle disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters in a commercially focused, legally compliant manner.

This remote-first, hybrid role offers exposure to a broad ER caseload, including investigations, hearings and appeals, with opportunities to influence workplace culture

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance).
• Experience supporting or conducting workplace investigations, hearings and appeals.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law in a commercial setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on a diverse range of complex ER matters, delivering fair outcomes.
• Support and lead investigations with thorough fact-finding and compliant outcomes.
• Coach managers to handle people issues and make informed decisions.
• Develop and share expert employment law guidance across the business.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across manufacturing and corporate functions.
• Keep case data up to date and ensure reporting accuracy.
