Job summary

Barbour is offering an Ecommerce Apprenticeship at our South Shields head office. You will support daily ecommerce operations, test changes, and help ensure a smooth online shopping experience across our websites.

You’ll work with IT, Customer Services and Warehouse, gaining hands-on exposure to content updates, promotions and reporting. You will learn Barbour’s ecommerce platforms, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, while developing problem solving and collaboration skills in a hybrid work

Responsibilities

• Support the day to day running of Barbour's ecommerce websites.
• Carry out regular website checks on product info, navigation, search, basket and checkout.
• Investigate issues and raise with relevant teams or partners.
• Test website fixes and new features, recording results.
• Assist with updates to website content including delivery info and FAQs.
• Support promotions, campaigns and seasonal activity.
• Keep task lists and trackers up to date and follow up actions.
• Collaborate with IT, Customer Services and Warehouse on orders, delivery and returns.
• Assist with reporting and data checks to monitor performance.
• Support projects to improve the online customer experience.
• Learn Barbour’s ecommerce and CRM systems, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
