Job summary

Ipswich Borough Council is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our busy contact centre. You will provide high-quality customer service, handling a wide range of enquiries by telephone, with some email and face-to-face interactions, and strive to resolve issues on first contact.

The role is hybrid after training, with a minimum of two days per week in the office. A training package is provided to support ongoing development and success.

Qualifications

• Front-line customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• IT literate with MS Outlook and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve a wide range of enquiries as the first point of contact by telephone.
• Some email and face-to-face interaction may be required.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a busy, target-driven contact centre on behalf of the Council.
