Job summary

Sedgwick in Glasgow is seeking a Customer Service Claims Adviser to be the calm voice for claimants, helping them get their lives back on track and guiding them through the claims journey.

You will handle calls and correspondence with policyholders, insurers and contractors, record details accurately, and coordinate with Home Adjusting and other teams to keep customers at the heart of every decision.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service office environment.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to write to policyholders, insurers and contractors.
• Contractor repair support experience will be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for customers during the claims process and provide excellent service on every call.
• Record claim details accurately and set clear expectations for the service journey.
• Learn policy and procedure requirements and handle difficult conversations when needed.
• Collaborate with the Home Adjusting team and other departments to keep customers at the heart of everything we do.
