Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Technician in Glasgow to support claimants and restore lives after loss. You will oversee repair progress on our in-house claims system, set up and update records, and proactively manage repair timelines with a strong focus on customer service.

You'll liaise with customers, contractors and insurers, prioritise urgent tasks, and work towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service office environment.
• Excellent communication with policyholders, insurers and contractors, and ability to explain complex details clearly.
• Ability to prioritise workload and identify urgent tasks.
• Pursuit of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a repair-based portfolio and manage progress on our in-house claims system.
• Set up and update records; proactively manage repair timelines.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs with exceptional customer service.
• Liaise with customers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth communication.
• Familiarity with schedules of work is a plus.
