Job summary

Sedgwick in Glasgow is seeking a Team Manager to lead a Validation Services team, directing day-to-day operations for claim handlers across remote and office settings. You will coach, monitor performance, and drive customer outcomes in a supportive, high-engagement environment.

You’ll oversee training needs, appraisals and wellbeing while ensuring adherence to claims processes and service standards. Experience in domestic buildings claims and Cert CILA is advantageous; company supports

• Strong knowledge of domestic buildings claims, including validation and scoping.
• Ability to manage team performance and support colleagues to reach potential.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of a team of claim handlers, including coaching and guidance.
• Oversee team performance, identify development needs and conduct appraisals.
• Manage absence, wellbeing and engagement, ensuring service standards are met.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
