Job summary

Ampa Group is seeking a Billing Team Leader to drive a high‑quality, accurate billing service across the group’s brands. You will lead a team, coordinate complex billing, and help scale the central billing function while working across Midlands hubs with hybrid travel.

You will partner with credit control and Finance Operations to ensure compliance with VAT, SARs, and client requirements, delivering timely, accurate invoices.

Qualifications

• Leading a billing team to deliver accurate end-to-end billing.
• Coordinate multi-brand, multi-payer, eBilling requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SARs, VAT and internal policies.
• Partner with credit control and Finance Operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop billing team members to a service-led culture.
• Oversee end-to-end billing for designated brands and teams.
• Assist design and expansion of a central billing function.
• Build relationships with partners, fee earners and finance colleagues.
• Monitor billing performance and drive improvements.
