Job summary

Investigo is assisting a client in the United Kingdom with a senior Accounts Receivable Manager role. The position leads the Billing and Sales Ledger teams, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collections within a multi-entity environment.

You will drive process improvements, support system enhancements and partner with Finance to optimise order-to-cash and data quality initiatives. The role is hybrid with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Sales Ledger or Order-to-Cash environments.
• Experience supervising or managing a team.
• Strong invoicing, reconciliations and billing controls.
• Able to interpret customer agreements and resolve complex billing queries.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance and other business functions.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Billing and Accounts Receivable team to meet deadlines.
• Oversee accurate invoicing across multiple revenue streams and contracts.
• Manage renewals, amendments, pricing reviews and credit notes.
• Review agreements to validate pricing, billing schedules, and renewal terms.
• Maintain accurate customer, contract and billing records.
• Oversee reconciliations, cash allocation and Direct Debit processing.
• Collaborate with Credit Control to resolve collections issues.
• Ensure month-end sales ledger processes and reporting deadlines.
• Produce reports on billing activity, renewals, aging, and exceptions.
• Support system enhancements, data quality projects and process improvements.
