Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering experience preferably in Maintainability, Operating or Training discipline.
• Maintenance and/or logistics support to complex systems and interfaces to technical publications.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals for complex systems.
• Hands on support or maintenance of Defence equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform build, survey and maintenance tasks on various gun/vehicle systems.
• Support design team colleagues with ongoing tasks and procurement queries.
• Review, update and implement changes to technical manuals.
• Support trials of equipment in the UK and Overseas.
• Deliver Artillery Equipment Training Courses as required.
• Manage a dedicated shop floor area including tools and equipment.

Skills

Hands on mechanical engineering experience
