Job summary

Guinness Property is seeking an Area Planner to join our team in Sheffield. The role focuses on coordinating the day-to-day scheduling of Responsive Repairs Operatives, ensuring appointments are arranged to meet residents’ needs and maintain high service standards.

You will manage diaries, bookings and rescheduling, keeping accurate records and updating systems to track repair activities. This role requires clear communication with residents, operatives and internal teams, with a view to

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-driven environment.
• Experience working to performance targets.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work methodically, follow procedures and record data accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Experience of working with databases.
• Social housing experience.
• Experience handling large volumes of data.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Experience with DRS (Document Return System or similar).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day scheduling of Responsive Repairs Operatives to ensure efficient repairs planning.
• Manage operative diaries, bookings and rescheduling to meet residents' needs.
• Maintain accurate records and update systems so repair activities are tracked.
• Communicate clearly with residents, operatives and internal teams to allocate jobs efficiently and deliver high customer service.
• Contribute to service delivery improvements and performance improvements.
