Job summary

Eligo Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Administration Team Leader for our client in Harlow. You will lead the Business Services Administrators, coordinate field engineers and ensure high standards of service to tenants and Local Authority contracts.

The role requires strong organisation, accountability and people leadership, with hybrid working after probation. Salary £31,000 with a £750 bonus and opportunities to develop leadership skills within a busy engineering services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy service-led administration, scheduling or coordination.
• Experience coordinating field engineers or operatives would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Social Housing, Property Maintenance, Facilities Management, or Engineering Services is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor a team of Business Services Administrators.
• Manage daily workloads and ensure work is distributed effectively.
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of field engineers, including servicing and inspections.
• Ensure jobs are raised, allocated, updated and closed in internal systems and portals.
• Monitor outstanding jobs, appointments and follow-ups.
• Act as escalation point for complex queries from engineers, customers and tenants.
• Support the team with appointment access and availability issues.
• Ensure enquiries from Local Authority/Social Housing clients are handled professionally.
• Collaborate with Contract Managers, engineers and Operations to deliver contracts.
• Monitor service levels, KPIs and administration quality.
• Coach and develop team members; manage holidays and absence.
