Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Support professional to assist users of IRIS Accountancy software. You’ll listen to issues, investigate, explain solutions, and help customers return to work quickly, applying your finance knowledge to communicate clearly.

You’ll work from the Heathrow Approach office in Slough for at least three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home on the remaining days. Training and onboarding are provided to help you grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Finance, accounting or related degree.
• Experience in finance, tax or accountancy role.
• Currently studying accounting qualification such as AAT.
• Strong communicator with customers.
• Organised and accurate; able to log and manage cases.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries via phone, email and other channels.
• Investigate and resolve software and process-related questions.
• Explain solutions clearly and guide customers through steps.
• Escalate complex issues to specialists when needed.
• Log and manage customer cases through to resolution.
• Share knowledge to improve support information.
• Work toward service, quality and customer satisfaction targets.
• Represent IRIS with professionalism and empathy.
