Job summary

IRIS Software Group in the UK seeks friendly, motivated individuals to join the Accountancy Customer Services team. You’ll support IRIS Accountancy software and help customers resolve issues, learning finance and accounting concepts along the way.

No prior IRIS knowledge is required—the company provides full product training and structured onboarding. This hybrid role is based in Slough with three days in the office and the rest from home, offering a solid foundation for a career in software

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related subject, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a finance, tax or accountancy-related role or current study towards an accounting qualification such as AAT.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain solutions clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer queries via phone, email and other channels
• Investigate and resolve software and process-related questions
• Explain solutions clearly and guide customers through steps
• Escalate complex issues to specialist teams when needed
• Log and manage customer cases through to resolution
• Share knowledge to improve support information
• Work toward service and customer satisfaction targets
• Represent IRIS with professionalism and empathy
