Job summary

Caledonian Recruitment Group Ltd is recruiting an HVAC Business Development Manager – National to drive new business across small works, installations and service. You will engage with clients, contractors and consultants, develop proposals and push opportunities from enquiry through to contract award.

The role requires deep HVAC knowledge, strong commercial acumen and the ability to build lasting relationships with key clients while coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within HVAC.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV.
• Experience generating and securing small works, refurbishment and project-based opportunities.
• Commercial awareness: estimating, pricing, margin management and contract negotiation.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to attend client meetings and site visits; full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new HVAC opportunities across small works, installations, and service.
• Build and maintain client relationships and generate leads.
• Attend site surveys and client meetings to assess project requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions with estimating and operations teams.
• Manage full sales cycle from enquiry to contract award.
• Maintain a sales pipeline, forecast revenue and report performance.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams for handover of secured works.
