Human Resources Manager

Location: Dedham

Type: Full-Time

The Human Resources Manager is an integral position within the Human Resources Department, and will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.

$24/hr Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Essential Job Functions
  • Possess knowledge of each department’s individual needs.
  • Be familiar with all vacancies within the agency and the available schedules.
  • Maintain a database of all candidates in Great Plains.
  • Input and color code applications into Human Resources data base.
  • Prepare new employee booklets.
  • Enter all training information into Human Resources data base.
  • Create above and beyond awards for employees.
  • Design, distribute and maintain job opportunities’ flyers for internal and external recruitment efforts.
  • Copy printed materials and correspondence.
  • Attend required trainings and scheduled supervision meetings.
  • Assist the Vice President of Human Resources in other Human Resource functions as they arise.
  • Post jobs on line at a variety of colleges and universities.
Qualifications
  • BA preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in Human Services or related field.
  • Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
  • A current driver’s license and a car are required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent telephone skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
