Job Title: HR Manager
Location: Ashford
Job Type: Full time/permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (08:00 - 16:00 would also be considered)
Salary: Negotiable (Dependent on experience)
Job Summary:
As an HR Manager, you will play a key role in managing HR operations, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes. Serving as a generalist HR expert, you will develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a smooth and effective hiring process.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Implement and monitor performance management programs to drive high performance.
- Nurture a positive working environment and develop employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal systems.
- Maintain and enhance company policies and procedures, ensuring they remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to hiring managers, ensuring they are equipped to manage their roles effectively.
- Oversee and implement employee development programs and training.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven strategies for improvement.
- Oversee the small health and safety team, ensuring 100% compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop HR strategies and manage implementation across various departments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders and drive change.
- Experience in conflict resolution, talent management, and performance management.
