Job summary

A prestigious heritage organisation is seeking an experienced HR Adviser for a short-term contract in Swindon. This hybrid role requires managing complex employee relations cases, providing specialist advice, and fostering effective relationships with team managers. Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations and case management?

Our client, a prestigious heritage organisation, is seeking a skilled HR Adviser to join their team on a short-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact in a respected organisation while managing a diverse and challenging caseload.

THE ROLE

As an HR Adviser, you will :

  • Manage your own portfolio of complex cases, including sickness absence, grievances, and capability issues.
  • Provide specialist advice and support to line managers on all aspects of employee relations.
  • Identify opportunities to design and deliver targeted training and guidance to managers on effective people management.
  • Assist with Occupational Health processes, related meetings, and day-to-day employee queries.
THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who has :

  • Proven experience handling a caseload of complex employee relations matters.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and deliver high-quality support to teams.
  • A strong analytical approach combined with confident decision-making.

  • Familiarity with HR information systems (e.g., Oracle HR, Midland iTrent).
