Job summary

A leading EPC contractor in South West London seeks an experienced HSE Engineer to manage project safety management within the offshore energy sector. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, conduct audits, and lead risk management processes. Ideal candidates should possess a degree and HSE qualifications like Nebosh. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement and competitive salary options.

Qualifications

  • Degree level Qualification as well as HSE Qualification i.e Nebosh.
  • Experience working for an IMCA-approved contractor.
  • Auditor and investigation certification.
  • Knowledge of IOGP and IMCA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and evaluate subcontractors including Supplier Document Register.
  • Develop and maintain project deliverables.
  • Lead risk management process.
  • Facilitate HSE readiness reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and conduct internal HSE audits.
  • Lead investigations.
  • Maintain and coordinate Country Emergency Response Team.

  • 12+ month contract | 37.5 hours per week
  • Hybrid working arrangement for office and home working

Ceto Talent is partnering with a leading EPC contractor, delivering large-scale and complex energy projects within the offshore energy sector.

As an HSE Engineer, you’ll be part of a seven-person project team responsible for developing, applying and tracking the project’s safety management system across the BP NEP / NZT Carbon Capture Project and future work. You’ll also have ongoing opportunities to build your expertise and progress in your career.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Subcontractor Management and Evaluation including Supplier Document Register
  • Develop and maintain Project Deliverables
  • Lead Risk Management Process

  • Ensure compliance with Contractual and Regulatory Requirements
