HR Systems Advisor
Location: Antrim
Department: Organisation Development - Human Resources

About the Role
Are you passionate about HR systems and data integrity? Do you have strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail? We are seeking an HR Systems Advisor to join our Organisation Development team. This key role will provide vital support to the HR Systems and Analytics function, ensuring our HR Information System (HRIS) and related processes run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
You will be responsible for routine system maintenance, data reconciliation, report generation, and helping to deliver excellent HR service by maintaining compliance with Council policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential administrative and data processing support for HR Systems and Analytics

  • Administer HRIS and Time Management Systems (TMS), ensuring accurate data and user support

  • Produce and distribute regular and ad-hoc HR reports and management information

  • Assist in system troubleshooting and liaise with IT and vendors for issue resolution

  • Support HR contractors' contract reviews and maintain agency charge rates

  • Coordinate responses to Freedom of Information requests related to HR systems

  • Deliver first-line support and training to managers and employees on HR self-service modules

  • Help improve HR processes through system enhancements and automation

  • Participate in cross-departmental projects and working groups as required
What We're Looking For


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language and Maths, or equivalent

  • At least 2 years' experience in an administrative role involving data input, report production, and stakeholder communication

  • Experience working with computerised HR systems is highly desirable

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small specialist team

  • High discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
