We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and legally knowledgeable, with the ability to balance hands‑on administration with more complex advisory and compliance responsibilities.

  • Draft, review and update HR policies for the UK and Europe, ensuring alignment with current legislation and internal governance.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law, GDPR, immigration requirements and internal HR standards.
  • Maintain audit‑ready HR records, documentation and templates. Monitor employment law changes and lead communication of updates to managers and employees. HR Operations & Mailbox Management: Manage the Group HR mailbox, providing accurate and timely responses using strong HR and employment law knowledge.
  • Triage enquiries, resolve issues independently and elevate where necessary.
  • Coordinate core HR processes such as maternity, paternity, flexible working and contract amendments, supported by the HR Apprentice.
  • Maintain and improve HR trackers, templates and operational documentation.
  • Manage ER cases independently, including sickness absence, investigations, performance management, low‑to‑medium complexity disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Lead redundancy processes, including organising and running consultation meetings and preparing documentation. Ensure all ER activity is fully compliant with UK employment law and company policy, escalating high‑risk matters appropriately.
