A family-run business is seeking an enthusiastic HR & Operations Support Administrator Apprentice to join their team in Lancashire. You will assist with recruitment, maintain records, and support project management, while also gaining exposure to facilities management. The role offers a clear pathway to develop your skills through a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship with excellent opportunities for progression post-training.
an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an HR & Operations Support Administrator Apprentice. You will work across multiple departments, supporting our HR function and business operations team. This role is based on an industrial site in Preston that is a little away from public transport. Therefore, the ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle is desirable.
The successful candidate will work towards completing the Level 3 Business Administration Standard from the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education. Training is delivered by Blackpool and The Fylde College offering expert tuition and facilities. The apprenticeship comprises several elements reflecting individual abilities and career goals, with expert tutors and assessors supporting achievement.
Developing your skills at work is called on-the-job training. 20% of your apprenticeship (equal to one full day a week) will be off-the-job and may include attending college, tackling projects, online learning, coaching, shadowing, or job-related training. An allocated skills coach will visit at least once a month to guide and support you and help plan your future. We provide specialist support for English and maths and for any additional needs you make us aware of.
Level 3: a minimum of English and maths grades A-C (9-4) (or equivalent) are desirable OR willingness to complete Functional Skills Level 2 are a requirement to have or to achieve before EPA Gateway.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there are excellent progression opportunities within our growing company. Depending on your interests and strengths developed during the apprenticeship, you could progress to either HR Administrator or Operations Administrator roles. There are also opportunities to gain experience in project management in these positions. Further career development could lead to supervisory or management roles as the company continues to expand.
