Overview

HR Business Partner - 6-Month FTC

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Redditch

Salary: £50,000

Hours: Full-Time, On-Site, Monday – Thursday 07:30am – 16:30 and Fridays 07:30 – 12:30

We are seeking two experienced HR Business Partners to support a major six-month stabilisation programme within a busy manufacturing environment. This role is highly operational and working directly with the shop floor teams, it’s about rolling up your sleeves and taking ownership of people management tasks so operational leaders can focus on safety, quality, and output.

The Role
  • Act as the on-site HR presence within one of two manufacturing units.
  • Manage attendance, absence, holidays, and payroll accuracy.
  • Conduct return-to-work meetings, disciplinaries, and employee relations cases.
  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, and probation reviews.
  • Maintain HR systems and training records, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
  • Provide visible, approachable HR support on the shop floor and management.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven HR experience in manufacturing, logistics & distribution, or similar industrial settings (2+ years).
  • Strong background in hands on employee relations, absence management, and supporting weekly payroll.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, environment.
  • Approachable, pragmatic, and confident dealing with both line managers and shop floor colleagues.
  • Able to work independently and hit the ground running.
