A renowned educational institution in the North East is seeking an HR Assistant to provide efficient administrative support for the HR function. This role offers a salary of approximately £27,000 – £28,000 gross per annum (full-time equivalent) or around £21,000 – £22,000 for term-time only. Candidates with ambition to develop in HR are encouraged to apply. The position requires 37.5 hours per week and promotes a positive working environment.
Required as soon as possible, we have a rare opportunity for someone to join us as an HR Assistant at the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle. This is a varied role which will provide efficient and confidential administrative support to the HR function, ensuring the smooth running of HR processes and compliance with safer recruitment practices in line with Independent School Standards and statutory requirements.
Salary: In the region of £27,000 – £28,000 gross per annum (full-time equivalent, all year round) or circa £21,000 – £22,000 gross per annum for term-time only + staff days.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, all year round or term-time only + staff training days (to be discussed at interview). This is a permanent role.
