A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Part-Time HR Assistant in Chippenham to manage HR-related queries and oversee recruitment processes across two dealerships. Ideal candidates will have prior HR experience, particularly in onboarding and handling performance meetings, and should also possess a UK driving licence. Our client, a large multi-franchise approved car dealer group situated in the Chippenham region, is currently looking to recruit an Assistant to join their head office on a part-time basis.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be a key point of contact for all HR related queries across our client's two dealerships in Chippenham, ensuring correct procedures and policies are followed and helping oversee the recruitment and selection of staff as well as the new starter process. The role also involves general ad‑hoc office administration.
Due to the nature of this role, previous HR experience, particularly experience in onboarding new staff and assisting with/hosting staff performance and disciplinary meetings, would be essential to our client at this stage. Any experience in the automotive industry would be highly advantageous; however it is non-essential. You shall also need a UK driving licence with minimal points, as a small amount of driving from time to time may be required to visit our client's other dealership in Chippenham.
