Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional and proactive HR advisory service aligned with Trust values.
  • Build strong relationships and coach managers to develop effective people practices.
  • Act as a key point of contact for managers, using a coaching approach to address a wide range of employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management, and organisational change programmes.
  • Support workforce KPIs and contribute to strategic priorities, getting involved in policy development, organisational change programmes, manager training, and HR projects.

Our aim is to reflect the communities we serve, so we particularly encourage applications from under‑represented groups. If you’d like to discuss your application, please ask.

We also welcome individuals with lived experience relevant to the role or service area, as your insight brings authenticity to our services.

You will join a supportive and welcoming team that will help you settle in and get to know the Trust and the teams you will be supporting. We come together regularly to ensure good communication and sharing of good practice. Under the direction of the HR Business Partner, you will work autonomously with supervision and support.

The NHS People Plan and People Promises influence the strategic direction of our team. You will join an organisation that is committed to making changes, to support equality, and takes compassionate leadership approaches, with the aim of improving staff wellbeing and delivering excellent patient care.
