Job summary

A local HR consultancy is seeking an HR Advisor in Essex to support their team and clients. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, supporting policy interpretation, and advising on employee relations cases. The ideal candidate will have relevant HR qualifications and experience in generalist HR roles. This full-time position offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days working from home.

  • Good understanding of issues facing the trust and wider health economy.
  • Ability to manage employee relations cases, disciplinaries, grievances.

Position : HR Advisor

Location : Southend on Sea

Salary - £31,500 - 33,445

Staff partners are working with a local client in Essex who are looking for HR Advisor to assist the team in providing general HR , if you have experience in a HR Advisor role.

  • Acting as first point of contact via the telephone, email and in person, to respond to queries, where necessary redirecting matters appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • To support the HR Manager on the interpretation and application of the Trust s HR policies and procedures.
  • To be the first point of call for general advice on queries over a range of HR issues, for example annual leave calculations, flexible working requests, maternity / paternity leave etc.
  • To provide consistent advice and guidance to managers using defined levels of expertise and knowledge, in dealing with HR matters, including attendance, capability / performance, disciplinary and resourcing issues.
  • Relevant HR qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in an operational generalist role, covering a wide range of ER
  • Responsibilities including sickness, management of employee relations cases, disciplinaries, grievances etc
  • Good understanding of the key issues facing the trust and the wider health economy

This position will offer Hybrid working 3 days in the office based 2 days working from home.

Full time hours Monday Friday 37.5 hours per week
