E3recruitment has partnered with a chilled foods business to appoint an HR Advisor for a busy manufacturing site. Working with the Head of HR, you will provide advice, guidance and support to colleagues across the business in a fast-paced environment.

The role centers on employee relations and improving communication and engagement, with opportunities for development within a supportive HR team.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a generalist HR role in a manufacturing environment.
• A real interest and passion for employee relations.
• Able to work with and influence colleagues at all levels.
• Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage and prioritise a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Handle employee relations including grievances, investigations, performance management and disciplinary matters.
• Advise managers on best practice to ensure fair, consistent HR processes.
• Support performance review meetings and staff inductions.
• Handle general HR enquiries and work to improve communication and engagement across the business.

About the Role:

Based at a site employing over 1,000 people, as HR Advisor you’ll be working with the Head of HR, providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues across the business.

It is a fast paced role, offering a lot of variety, and your responsibilities will include:

• A strong focus on employee relations, including grievances, investigations, performance management, disciplinaries, absence management etc.
• Advising managers on best practice to ensure a fair, consistent approach.
• Supporting performance review meetings and staff inductions.
• Handling general HR enquiries and working to improve communication and engagement across the business.

About You:

This role would suit an HR Advisor with experience of employee relations and we’re keen to hear form anybody with the following skills and experience:

Experience of working in a generalist HR role in a manufacturing environment.

• A real interest and passion for employee relations.
• Able to work with and influence colleagues at all levels.
• Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
• Ideally CIPD qualified (Level 3 or above), or with relevant experience.
